Robert Kubica in Rally of France [Update 2 - Kubica fastets in WRC2!]

We are approaching a decisive moments of this year's competition in the World Rally Championships. In Rally of France Robert Kubica will fight to comeback to first place in WRC2 classification and increase his chances WRC2 championship. Below you will find a full preview of the Rally of France - it will be four days of great rallying.

About the rally

Rallye de France is the last truly asphalt rally in this year`s WRC season. It`s very fast, but narrow and tricky rally. The event consists of 20 SS with a total length of 935 km, including 312 km of Special Stages. The shortest will be 4,5 km and the longest will be 34,3 km.

The main star of the rally will be Sebastien Loeb. It will be the last WRC rally in his career. From next season, the Frenchman will ride in the WTCC.

Another driver who will be observed this weekend in France is Sebastien Ogier, who needs only a point to secure the World Championship title.

Rivals

Over 80 crews will start in Rally of France, including 13 WRC cars and 14 WRC2 cars. Kubica`s main rivals will be Elfyn Evans, Rashid Al-Ketbi and Robbie Barrable. They will drive strong Ford Fiesta R5.

Classifications

Robert is currently on the second place in the WRC2 classification. Abdulaziz Al- Kuwari is first. To secure championship title, Robert has to be at least first and third in his last two rallies.
