Robert in good mood, but we still have to wait

During last few weeks we didn't hear any decent news about Robert Kubica, but we have some few smaller signals that everything is all right with him. Two weeks ago he was watching Rally Ronde del Monteregio in Italy, then, when Autosprint reporters spoke with him, he was in good mood, and lately one of Italian fans met him in pizzeria.

We all know, that Robert probably won`t start in any race of 2012 Formula One season but we all hope, that he will be able to comeback in 2013. Since February we don`t have any official news about him, but we are still waiting.

Fortunately, time to time we can read some leaks about his condition and lifestyle. Two weeks ago on one of Italian forums one of the motorsport fans wrote, that he saw Kubica at Rally Ronde del Monteregio in Italy. Pole was watching his rally friends.

Few days ago we could read on Autosprint Magazine Twitter that their reporters talked with Robert and he is in good mood. Unfortunately, we didn`t learn anything else about Polish driver. Yesterday we could read an interesting story from Italy where one of Kubica`s fans met him at pizzeria. He wrote, that everything is OK with Robert.

Latest news is that Kubica will have another, very small surgery to improve his right hand mobility, but it`s nothing certain. All that are positive signals about Robert, but we are still hoping for something more. And if something appears I will immediately put this here.

  3. Well, if Kubica is going to make a return, can anyone explain to me why no one has seen a picture of him after the crash, and why he has never visited the F1 paddock even once since then?

As much as I'd like to see him back, the facts are his racing days as F1 driver are over...

  4. Anonymus - There was a lot of Kubica`s pictures after the accident. Kubica is not that kind of person to go to the paddock. He will comeback there when he will be ready to drive.

  5. Sorry guys for writing Polish on this plot, my note was however intented for the Polish forum but I wasn't able to place it properly. fyi, it is a link and a summary of the interview with Briatore as of March 2012, where Flavio comments on Robert's conditions and chances to get back to F1. Google translator should do :-) Cheers.

"widzialem go wiele razy, odwiedzilem go w szpitalu i powiedzialem mu, zeby nie przyspieszal zbytnio swojego powrotu.
