Robert Kubica will not return to F1 in 2011

Lotus Renault GP announced yesterday that Bruno Senna, who replaced Nick Heidfeld in Enstone based team, will be team`s first driver until the end of 2011 season. This means that - at least in the Renault - Robert Kubica won`t be back to F1 this year. Such a decision was almost sure for a long time, but the information from Lotus Renault GP official website give us certainty in this case.

In Robert Kubica`s case we can not say anything for sure, but the information that he will not return to Formula 1 until 2012 season seems to be final. There was some signals about it earlier, but note on the lotusrenaultgp.com seems to be the deciding. "
Lotus Renault GP is pleased to announce that Bruno Senna has been named as a race driver alongside Vitaly Petrov for the remainder of the 2011 Formula 1 season. Romain Grosjean remains the team’s third driver."
Of course, we still waiting for Pole`s manager or his friends statement which will confirm this news. For sure Robert will continue his fight to return to F1 as soon as possible. 2012 season will be very important for him.

I will of course follow Kubica`s rehabilitation progress and I will keep inform You about it.
