Sunday, 08.05: Kubica is able to clench his right fist?

According to the latest, unofficial information, Robert Kubica is able to fully clench his right fist. This is the result of Pole`s hard trainings at his home in Monaco where he is exercising for 6-7 hours per day. Despite the positive effects of his rehabilitation it is still unknown whether he will be able to return to racing in Formula 1. More we will know in mid-June.

It had been three months since Kubica`s accident in the Ronde di Andorra rally. A month ago, Robert was able to bend his fingers in a half. According to new, unofficial information, which appeared on a few websites, Pole is able to fully bend fingers of his right hand. It would be an important step in his rehabilitation. But we should take them with caution, because many times we have convinced, there is nothing certain about Polish driver.

Important news about Kubica`s current condition has provided us recently Eric Boullier, Lotus Renault GP boss, who said that Kubica is feeling much better mentally after returning to home. Robert is practising for 6-7 hours a day to regain full fitness as soon as possible. According to Frenchman words, in the middle of June we should get a clearer picture of Robert`s health.

Unfortunately Boullier also said that he is not sure when and if Polish driver return to F1. It is also interesting that Lotus Renault GP team has signed a one year contract with Nick Heidfeld, which may indicate that they are convinced that the Robert Kubica will not return in this season to F1.

But if Robert will regain full fitness his comeback will be only a matter of time.
