Wednesday, 06.04: Two months after Kubica crash - more question than answers

Exactly two months ago Robert Kubica participated in a very serious accident in rally Ronde di Andora in Italy. Since that time, Pole remains in Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure, where he is slowly returning to fitness. In next few weeks, Robert should be able to do a few steps. In worse condition than his feet is his right hand - it is still not known whether he will be able to regain full fitness in it.

If there wasn`t such bad coincidence of a metal barrier which intruded into the car, which Kubica drove, today we woulndn`t even remember about his accident in a small, local rally in Italy. But unfortunately it happened and Kubica will not participate in current Formula 1 season. According to doctor`s opinions, rehabilitation is proceeding correctly, and Robert is working hard to get back as soon as possible on the F1 tracks. Unfortunately, after four surgeries, is still not known whether Kubica will have a fully-functioning hand, which is necessary for the driver.

We get dramatically little informations about his condition, and yet if there are some news, it is a laconic and short. Kubica didn`t even tell to his fans any words after rally crash, but we know that he is having a hard time and we are able to forgive him. I believe that his progress in treatment will become more visible and I will be able to tell all of us about first movements of Kubica`s hand and good views for the future for him.
