Robert Kubica - the most talented Polish racing driver, one of the most talented racing drivers in the world. Born in Krakow, on December 7, 1984.

At age 6 he raced go-karts, after reaching the required age limit (10 years), he was driving in Polish Karting Championships and in his first season he won the championship title, beating much older rivals. This success he repeated 5 more times in three consecutive years. Along with his parents he decided to participate in several rounds of Italy Karting Championships.

In his later career, he was a master of Italy and Germany, and he was second in European Championships. At age of 17 he began his career in single-seaters. Since the beginning of his sport career he has been believed as a huge talent and a future candidate to drive in Formula 1.

He participated in the following series: Formula A, Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup Formula Renault 2000, Formula 3 Euroseries, World Series by Renault, Formula 1.

In 2002 he participated as a passenger in a car accident in Poland. Drunk driver hit into his car. Kubica suffered numerous bone fractures. Doctors predicted the six-month period of rehabilitation, but  Pole returned to racing after 6 weeks, and he won in his first race, steering almost by one hand.

In 2006, he signed a contract with Formula 1 BMW Sauber team and he become test and reserve driver. He made his debut earlier than everyone expected, in the Hungarian Grand Prix 2006 in which he finished on seventh place but he was disqualified. In his third race in Formula 1 at Monza he was on podium. In next season he was already full-time driver of the BMW Sauber.

In the next three years Robert took pole position (Bahrain Grand Prix 2008), won the race (Canadian Grand Prix 2008), 7-times stood on the podium. After BMW`s withdrawal of the Formula 1, Pole signed a contract with the Renault F1 Team. In 2010, in 19 races he was three times on the podium and made also the fastest lap time in one of them.

Apart form Formula 1 driving, Robert was "recreationally" starting in several rallies in Italy, and he became the vice-master of Italian Championship in front-wheel drive vehicles category. His well-planned career was interrupted by a horrible crash in Rally Ronde di Andora.
