Thursday, 17.03: Kubica quickly recovers, he wants to walk again

Very good news about Robert Kubica gave us Eric Boullier, boss of Lotus Renault team. The Frenchman said that Pole is recovering faster than it was expected, he is training hard and already trying to get out from a wheelchair.

Boullier has regular contact with Robert, who had an accident on February 6 in the Rally Ronde di Andorra and from that time he is in Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure. Kubica is practicing intensive, trying to regain muscle strength in those parts of the body, where it is now possible.

"The prognosis about his condition are very positive. He is ahead of schedule and all  doctors' forecasts, both with rehabilitation or recovery. He is training hard, as far as his health allows him" - Eric Boullier said today.

Kubica is already trying to get up from a wheelchair, but when doctors noticed those attempts, they banned  Pole to make it and told him to "slow down". This command is quite unusual for Polish F1 driver.

Everyone watching Pole are saying, that he is a model patient, has plenty of motivation and belief. He is working very hard to come back to full health as soon as possible.

"He is an example to the rest of hospital patients. The doctors are supporting him. He is extremely motivated, he has the morale, even if it's not rosy every day overall he is maintaining exceptional spirit" - added Boullier.

We look forward to getting more good news about Robert.
